Positive news for Everton
Everton boss Marco Silva has put a tentative date on the injury return of Bernard, who suffered grade two ligament damage against Brighton in October.
It’s not been a great season for Everton in terms of injuries.
The Toffees have had many issues throughout the campaign.
Summer signing Jean-Philippe Gbamin will miss over half the season due to an injury, while Andre Gomes could also miss the remainder of the campaign.
That’s also aside from smaller problems for Fabian Delph, Yerry Mina and Bernard.
Though, Marco Silva has provided a positive injury update on the latter.

“I would like to see him again after the international break”
Speaking ahead of Everton’s clash with Southampton this weekend, Silva claimed he was putting pressure on the medical staff to have Bernard back after the international break.
After this weekend’s games, there will be another one week break before the Toffees face Norwich.
As a result, Silva wants Bernard fit and ready for that clash at Goodison Park.
“I would like to see him again after the international break,” Silva explained to the Liverpool Echo.
“I know I am putting some pressure on our medical staff and on my staff to get him in a good condition.
“You know, we always have a date in our mind and it is always a bit big but I am trying to put the normal pressure on them to see if Bernard will be with us after the international break but let’s see.
“After the exam we realised it is serious but not so serious. But we have to take the right time.”
Everton confirm Andre Gomes has been discharged from hospital following successful surgery
There’s also been some positive news in relation to Andre Gomes over the past 24 hours.
Gomes suffered a horror injury on Sunday in the clash with Tottenham.
Though, he’s now been discharged from hospital.
