Southampton embarrassed by Leicester
Friday evening’s Premier League clash saw Southampton playing host to Leicester.
Given the two sides’ contrasting form, most people probably predicted the Foxes getting something out of this tie.
However, after Ben Chilwell put Leicester 1-0 up 10 minutes in, it is altogether improbable that anyone envisioned what ensued at St Mary’s.
Brendan Rodgers’ side went on to notch a staggering 9-0 victory over Ralph Hasenhuttl’s men.

Southampton to donate wages
After the frankly pathetic display put on by Southampton on Friday, the club look to be trying to make things right between themselves and the fans.
One way they appear to be trying to mend bridges is by donating money to charity.
As per Southampton’s official website, the club’s first-team players and coaching staff have announced that they will be donating their wages from the day of the defeat vs Leicester to the Saints Foundation.
Ralph Hasenhuttl has also spoken out after the defeat.

As mentioned by Hasenhuttl, Southampton must next take on Manchester City.
That tie will be a League Cup clash on Tuesday, before Southampton once again face City in the league on Saturday.
But, given the form that Man City are in, it is hard to see the Saints getting anything out of the tie.
Southampton are currently 18th in the PL, and that position is only likely to worsen after facing off with Pep Guardiola’s men.
