Tottenham 1 – Watford 1
It was another bad day at the office for Tottenham as they drew 1-1 with Watford in the Premier League on Saturday.
Watford, who are still searching for their first win of the season, took a 6th-minute lead through Abdoulaye Doucoure.
Spurs leveled in the second half through Dele Alli.
Mauricio Pochettino distances himself from Amazon documentary
In his post-match presser, Mauricio Pochettino distanced himself from Tottenham’s upcoming Amazon documentary.
Last week, Tottenham confirmed that they’ve allowed Amazon to record behind the scenes footage of this 2019-20 season.

Some have since wondered whether Tottenham’s deal with Amazon may have impacted on the club’s poor start to the season.
When that question was posed to Pochettino after Watford, the Argentine boss made it clear that it wasn’t his decision to allow the Amazon cameras to record:
Do you think it is a moment to talk about that?
I am focused only in trying to stick with giving my best to turn the moment.
That was a club decision to do a documentary about Tottenham and me as a manager I need to give my best to help the club to do what the club want.
Tottenham’s possible January transfer u-turn
In the build-up to the Watford game, Pochettino indicated that Tottenham wouldn’t sign any new players in the January window.
However, after the Watford draw, the Spurs boss seemed to alter his tune. He said:
We are not going to get any benefit to talk about January, it is too far away, we have got a lot of games to play.
That is the structure of the club that is working and thinking and they need to be ready if we need to do something, if not we keep going, but I am happy with the squad, I am happy with the players.
Like always, what is going to happen in January I cannot guess today, what happens will happen. We need to take the responsibility.
