The latest England squad for the country’s upcoming Euro 2020 qualifiers has been announced this afternoon, with Chelsea youngsters Tammy Abraham, Fikayo Tomori and Mason Mount having all been handed call-ups.
England’s upcoming fixtures
The Three Lions are set to get their qualification campaign for next summer’s European Championships back underway next week.
Gareth Southgate’s men will first travel to the Sinobo Stadium next Friday night, for a meeting with the Czech Republic.
This will be followed by a trip to Bulgaria 3 days later.
As things stand, England sit top of the Group A table, having notched wins in all 4 of their outings so far.
The latest of these came early last month, when the Three Lions put Kosovo to the sword by 5 goals to 3, in a thrilling encounter:

And, ahead of their latest set of upcoming fixtures, the country’s squad has just been announced.
There are plenty of new faces included, with Chelsea pair Tammy Abraham and Fikayo Tomori having been rewarded for their superb respective starts to the season, with call-ups.
It marks a first appearance in the England senior setup for Tomori, with Abraham now having the chance to pledge his international allegiance to the Three Lions, with his first competitive appearance (he has previously featured in friendlies).
Blues stars Ross Barkley and Mason Mount are also set to be involved.
Elsewhere, Leicester City’s James Maddison is in line to bag his first England cap.
In terms of absentees, the most notable name is that of Manchester City defender Kyle Walker.
Gareth Southgate has instead opted for Trent Alexander-Arnold and Kieran Trippier, with the latter having enjoyed a fine start to life in La Liga following his move to Atletico Madrid during the summer.
There is also no place for either Dele Alli or Jesse Lingard:
