Argentine striker Mauro Icardi may finally leave Inter Milan today.

On the final day of the European summer transfer window, Icardi is on the verge of joining PSG.

Italian transfer guru Gianluca Di Marzio has posted updates on Icardi’s PSG move on Monday morning.

Di Marzio confirmed that PSG’s talks to sign Icardi progressed through the night.

The transfer is currently “at full speed” while the parties are “optimistic” about the deal completing.

How the Icardi deal will be structured

According to Di Marzio, Inter are likely to agree a contract extension with Icardi.

The 26-year-old forward is currently under contract at the San Siro until 2021.

After completing that deal, Icardi is poised to agree a loan move to PSG.

PSG are also predicted to secure an option to buy Icardi once the loan deal expires.

What’s going on with Neymar & PSG?

For months rumours have circled that Neymar could be leaving PSG.

Both Barcelona and Real Madrid have been linked with a possible deal for Neymar this summer.

However, on deadline day, Neymar appears certain to remain in Paris.

The front page of L’Equipe on Sunday reported that Neymar has told family and friends he’s staying at PSG.
