Spurs: Giovani Lo Celso fee agreed

Will Spurs finally announce the signing of Giovani Lo Celso from Real Betis?

According to reports, Tottenham have agreed a fee with Betis for the Argentine midfielder.

Journalist Duncan Castles revealed the following on Monday in the Daily Record:

Tottenham Hotspur are understood to have agreed a deal with Real Betis for Giovani Lo Celso following several months of negotiations.

The Argentina international will cost the Premier League club an initial €52million, with a further €8m due in performance-related variables.

However, as Spurs fans wake up on Tuesday, the Lo Celso deal still hasn’t been confirmed.

Man United move to sign Christian Eriksen

The Daily Mail on Tuesday claim that Man United are trying to sign Christian Eriksen:

Manchester United are working to sign Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen before the transfer window closes on Thursday.

Representatives of Eriksen are hopeful of negotiating a move and those close to the 27-year-old Dane revealed on Monday he is at the top of United’s list.

The Mail fail to detail how much Man United may have to pay Spurs for Eriksen.

But could Eriksen leave Spurs to join a different club this summer?

Yes, says journalist Matt Law in the Telegraph.

According to the reporter, if Eriksen remains at Spurs past Thursday, some of the bigger teams in Europe could try to sign the Dane for cheap:

Tottenham Hotspur are braced for European clubs making cut-price bids for Christian Eriksen.

That gives the likes of Juventus, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid, who have all shown an interest in Eriksen, the chance to try to drive the midfielder’s price down after Thursday’s English window has shut. Inter Milan are also monitoring the situation.

While Tottenham are believed to value Eriksen at around 130 million pounds, these European clubs could try to poach the midfielder for 50 million pounds.

Ryan Sessegnon: £10m Fulham problem

Fulham value the 19-year-old at about £30 million despite him having a year left on his deal. Tottenham hope to sign him for closer to £20 million.
