Roy Keane is leaving Nottingham Forest
As confirmed by Nottingham Post reporter Paul Taylor, Roy Keane is about to leave Nottingham Forest again.
Keane returned to the City Ground last season to work alongside Martin O’Neill.
O’Neill and Keane had previously worked in tandem for the Irish national team.
In the end, the 2018-19 season petered out for Nottingham Forest, as they failed to come close to a playoff place.
It’s now been confirmed that Keane is leaving Forest as he attempts to “pursue other opportunities.”
The indication is that Keane is looking for a way back into football management.

Alan Hutton could be next
According to the Nottingham Post, Forest could soon sign a new defender, too:
Forest are also said to close to signing another free agent in former Aston Villa right-back Alan Hutton.
The 34-year-old has spoken with other Championship clubs, including Wigan, but Forest appear to be at the front of the queue.
