Everton’s Richarlison gives update on his future

Richarlison’s impressive 2018/19

Richarlison joined Everton last summer from Watford for a fee of around £35m.

The Brazilian was reunited with his former boss Marco Silva who he had played under for a time while with the Hornets.

Since he started playing under Silva again Richarlison has been quite impressive for the Toffees.

The Brazilian would score 13 league goals in 35 appearances this past season.

Richarlison also finished as Everton’s overall joint top scorer for the 2018/19 campaign, scoring 14 in all competitions.

Richarlison future update

Richarlison is just 22 years of age and looks to have a bright future ahead of him.

The forward is also very versatile, Richarlison is naturally a left winger but he can play all across the front three, as he did this past season managing 13 games at centre-forward, 13 on the left wing and 11 on the right.

Given his age, quality and versatility, it is no surprise Richarlison is being linked with some top clubs.

Over the past few months, the Everton attacker has been linked with Manchester United, Spanish giants FC Barcelona and Everton’s cross-town rivals, Liverpool.

Now, in a recent interview, Richarlison has provided an update on his future amidst all the transfer speculation.

Luckily for Everton fans, he sounds pretty happy to stay at Goodison Park for now:

“It’s a nice feeling when you get praise for your good work, but I’m not thinking about a transfer at the moment.

“I’ve just arrived at Everton. I’m happy here.” As quoted by the Liverpool Echo, from FourFourTwo.
