Liverpool’s CEO, Peter Moore, has sent a message to the club’s supporters following their behaviour in Barcelona.
The Reds’ fans descended on the city ahead of their Champions League semi-final clash with the Catalan Giants.
However, many of the club’s supporters have brought shame to the club through their appalling behaviour.
Liverpool supporters invade Plaça Reial and mistreat locals/tourists
Here’s the “Liverpool fan” who tripped a Barcelona local into the fountain.
Vile behaviour and not what the club is about at all.
Think @LFC should attempt to take this further, he doesn’t represent our fan base.

Hundreds of fans from the Merseyside club took to the Plaça Reial on Tuesday before being removed by police.
Whilst many fans were enjoying the European trip, a few have tarnished the club’s reputation.
Liverpool fans can be seen pushing locals/tourists into a fountain and then laughing at them.
A few videos emerged on social media showing similar behaviour on the same day.

Liverpool CEO sends message to club’s supporters
We proudly sing that we’ve conquered all of Europe. But let’s treat this beautiful city with the respect that it deserves, and act in a manner that is befitting of LFC. By all means have a good time, but we are Liverpool, and as such, let’s visit here with grace and humility.

Following the scenes emerging online and fans being ejected from areas of the city, Peter Moore, the club’s CEO has reacted.
He has urged the club’s supporters to show “respect” to the city and not harm the club’s reputation.
Many fellow Liverpool fans have also strongly condemned the actions of those involved in the videos online.
Our fans are usually class away from home and do us proud in Europe, but you always one or two that let us down.
To be pushing locals in fountains isn’t on and not what Liverpool’s about.
Really disappointing to see. https://t.co/ihxdCztxDe
