Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers has this evening provided a fitness update on his squad, ahead of the Foxes’ clash with Bournemouth.
Leicester vs Bournemouth
Leicester are set to welcome the Cherries to the King Power Stadium on Saturday afternoon, in their return to action following the international break.
Brendan Rodgers’ men will head into proceedings on a solid run of form of late, having picked up 3 wins from their last 4 Premier League outings.
The 2015/16 champions currently sit in 10th in the English top-flight table.
Bournemouth, meanwhile, sit 2 places and 3 points adrift of their hosts this weekend.
Eddie Howe’s men have managed just a solitary win from their last 7 league outings, 3 weeks ago versus basement-dwellers Huddersfield.

‘Fit and well’
And the Cherries’ task this weekend will not be aided by any fresh concerns on the personnel front for Leicester.
Speaking in a press conference this evening, Brendan Rodgers provided an update on his squad, confirming that the Foxes’ stars who departed for international duty over the last fortnight have returned unscathed:
No fresh injury concerns. “Everybody who went away on international duty has come back fit and well, it’s always a worry when they do go away,” said Rodgers. #LCFC

Rodgers also confirmed that Wes Morgan looks likely to step into his side’s backline, in place of the suspended Harry Maguire:
Fresh from signing a new one-year contract, Wes Morgan could return to the line-up as Maguire is banned. “He’s an honest, commanding player. He’s gone on to legendary status here. He’s got a really positive influence and he’s very humble and committed,” said Rodgers. #LCFC

Finally, the Leicester boss revealed that Marc Albrighton, who was expected to miss the remainder of the season with a hamstring injury, could yet feature before the end of the campaign:
Leicester receive an unexpected boost. Rodgers believes Marc Albrighton will be available at some point [before the end of the season]. “He’s worked very hard during his time out and he’s back on the pitch doing his rehabilitation. Hopefully he’ll get some game time.” #LCFC
