Paul Pogba stars vs Chelsea
Ever since Jose Mourinho left Manchester United, Paul Pogba has been doing bits for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Pogba took his tally to 9 goals and 6 assists in 12 games under OGS away at Chelsea on Monday.
The French World Cup winner set up Ander Herrera for Man United’s opener before Pogba headed home number two.
Jamie Carragher’s Man United prediction
Back in September a video of Pogba versus Mourinho went viral.
The video was recorded by Sky Sports as they filmed at United’s Carrington facilities.
Tension between Mourinho and Pogba was palpable in the video as the manager and midfielder had a staring contest.
Back at the time, Jamie Carragher predicted that even if Mourinho left United, Pogba would struggle. He argued:
I don’t know if he’s worth the hassle for what he gives on the pitch. There’s an idea that it’s one or the other.
If Mourinho goes you won’t see a new Pogba, I can assure Manchester United fans of that.
He’s not as a good as he thinks he is. He’s got taleneht but his big problem is his understanding of the game.
It’s been a problem since he arrived and it hasn’t changed now.

Jamie Carragher admits he was wrong
Carragher has now admitted that prediction was wide of the mark.
The former Liverpool centre-half revealed his updated thinking on Pogba on Twitter.
Well I hope you completely disagreed at the time & not just now?!! He’s been a revelation since OGS came in because he’s basically let him play without defending. I didn’t see this turn around so I have no problem saying I was wrong.

But I won’t change my stance that Pogba should have delivered a lot more for Man Utd/Jose in those first two years no matter what the system or set up.
