A small section of viewers of the clash between Manchester City and Wolves have taken to social media, to question Sergio Aguero’s immediate reaction to Gabriel Jesus picking up what, at the time, looked a serious head injury.

Man City 3-0 Wolves

The Premier League champions welcomed Nuno Espirito Santo’s men to the Etihad, with the hosts having headed into proceedings eager to keep pace with table-toppers Liverpool.

Ahead of kick-off, the Reds sat 7 points clear of City, following their hard-fought 1-0 win at Brighton on Saturday afternoon.

However, when all was said and done in Manchester tonight, the gap between the Premier League’s top-2 sides was once again reduced to 4 points.

City strolled to a comfortable 3-0 victory at the Etihad, to take the Sky Blues’ goal-tally across their last 3 outings to a frankly-ridiculous 19 goals.

Gabriel Jesus put the hosts in front with just 10 minutes on the clock, sliding home a pinpoint Leroy Sane delivery from the left.

And the uphill battle being faced by visitors Wolves was made even more difficult 10 minutes later, when Willy Boly was given his marching orders by referee Craig Pawson for a dangerous challenge on Bernardo Silva.

Gabriel Jesus then went on to notch his brace from the penalty spot shortly before the interval, before the unfortunate Conor Coady nodded into his own net in attempting to deal with a devilish Kevin De Bruyne delivery 10 minutes from time.

Aguero criticised

However, on an all-round positive night for the Citizens, a small section of eagle-eyed fans have called into question the attitude of Sergio Aguero, over a first-half incident involving Gabriel Jesus.

In-form hitman Jesus was preferred to Aguero from the start tonight, but, in between his latest pair of strikes, the Brazilian was involved in a nasty collision with Wolves’ woodwork.

After getting on the end of a cross from the right, Jesus literally bounced his head off the post, leading to immediate concern around the Etihad.

However, as has since been highlighted by a number of fans, one individual who seemingly did not appear all that concerned was Aguero:
