Spurs’ stadium woes continue
Tottenham’s stadium is facing further delays with difficulties stemming from staging test events at the ground over the Christmas period.
It’s been a long wait for Tottenham fans but they are being forced to wait even longer.
The Londoners were set to move into their new ground at the beginning of the season but there have been several issues since then.
The stadium has been pushed back a number of times and the club were forced to move fixtures around and also use Wembley to play their home games.
Now, Spurs fans may have to wait even longer than they expected after another delay.

Planning for the new year
According to the Times, the club were hoping to open their stadium in time to stage the clash with Manchester United on January 13.
However, those plans have now been thrown into doubt.
The Times’ report claims that this is ‘because of the difficulty of staging test events at the ground over the Christmas period.’
That has left the club having to postpone details on tickets and the venue for the game.
The Times continue by claiming that Spurs will be providing an update on their upcoming fixtures soon, with all fixtures beyond the game with Wolves on December 29 without a confirmed venue.
Man United have even been forced to address the uncertainty surrounding their clash with Spurs.
As also cited by the Times, season ticket holders were given an update on tickets by the club.
An email read: “Unfortunately, we have not been given any indication when we will receive confirmation of the venue, allocation and ticket prices.”
Safe to say, it’ll be a huge relief when Spurs are finally in their new stadium.
Why Nick Viergever was Tottenham’s hero after Barcelona
Spurs will certainly hope to still be in the Champions League when their new stadium opens.
They moved one step towards that last night when they qualified for the next stage.
Though, there was an unexpected hero.
