Trophies do matter
Jose Mourinho is getting his mind games in order ahead of Man United’s clash with Liverpool.
Mourinho’s side take on Jurgen Klopp’s men this weekend and know a win would put a huge dent in Liverpool’s title ambitions.
Mourinho has of course won the Premier League three times – and various other trophies while in England.
That’s at both Chelsea and United. However, Klopp has won nothing as Liverpool manager.
He said to Sky Sports: “I think trophies matter yeah. Especially when you have the potential to fight for the trophies and especially when you clearly say the objective is to win the trophy.
“I think sometimes to say just to say is not very intelligent.”

United won’t be winning any
Liverpool are flying this season.
They’re competing for the Premier League title – and United are struggling to even get into the top four race.
Mourinho might be making digs now, but it would be terrible for him if Liverpool won the league.
United fans have already had enough when it comes to their football this season.
The results have been dire, and the performances even more so.
To see their biggest rivals in Liverpool and City fighting for the league only adds insult to injury.
