Fantasy Premier League Gameweek 19: Three in, three out

Fantasy Premier League Gameweek 19 kicks off on Wednesday the 26th of December at 12:30 pm UK time as Fulham face Wolves

So, all of your transfers for GW19 need to be done by 11:30 am UK time on Wednesday.

But if you are struggling to choose who to sign and who to sell this week, here are some tips.

3 in including Tottenham midfielder

Heung-Min Son (8.5)

Heung-Min Son had a slow start to the season due to him being on International duty with South Korea.

When Son returned he took some time to get back to his best, however, his recent form shows he is once again at 100%.

The midfielder has now scored five and assisted four in his last six league games for Spurs.

Son was also man of the match as Tottenham smashed Everton 6-2 on Sunday.

Moreover, at just 8.5 Son is an absolute steal given his current form.

Virgil van Dijk (6.3)

Since joining Liverpool, Virgil van Dijk has made the Reds defence into the best in the Premier League.

In 18 league games this season, Liverpool have conceded just seven goals, the best defensive record in the Premier League by some way.

Van Dijk is also capable of earning the odd goal and assist for Liverpool, as he did in Liverpool’s last game vs Wolves, scoring in the 68th minute.

This makes van Dijk the third best defender on FPL and with Liverpool playing Newcastle this game week, another clean sheet is very much on the cards.

Anthony Martial (7.4)

After Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took charge of his first Man United game on Saturday, the Reds look a completely different side.

As a result, it may be worth investing in some United players.

Your best option is probably Anthony Martial. Martial has scored eight and assisted one in the league this season for United and if the result vs Cardiff is anything to go by, Martial could bag a lot more before the season is over.

United are also at home to 19th place Huddersfield this week.

3 out including Brighton defender

Lewis Dunk (4.5)

Lewis Dunk has always been a solid defender for Brighton and is a very safe budget pick on FPL.

However, Dunk would be sent off in Brighton’s last game vs Bournemouth.

As a result, Dunk will miss the Seagulls next three league games, meaning it is probably a good idea to switch him out.

Sergio Aguero (11.2)

While getting rid of Sergio Aguero may seem like a strange idea, he is simply not playing enough at the moment.

Granted he did return as a sub in Man City’s last game vs Crystal Palace.

But even so, Pep Guardiola is still likely to rest Aguero again over the busy Christmas period.

So, it may be wise to swap Aguero for Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang who is currently the top forward on FPL.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan (6.7)

With Arsenal in much better form under Unai Emery, signing a cheap midfielder like Henrikh Mkhitaryan may have appealed to many FPL users.

Unfortunately, Mkhitaryan recently suffered an injury for the Gunners in a League Cup tie vs Tottenham.

It has since been revealed that Mkhitaryan fractured a metatarsal and will be out for around six weeks.
