Leicester vs Tottenham
Leicester City host Tottenham on Saturday evening as they look to continue their fine start to the season.
Leicester head into the weekend’s games 9th in the Premier League and unbeaten in their last five matches.
They are also just one point off a 6th place Europa League spot. However, they are also just one loss away from moving down to 12th place.
So, a win vs Tottenham is vital if they wish to continue pushing for a European place.
Spurs, on the other hand, come into this game 3rd in the league and Mauricio Pochettino’s side are enjoying their best start to a Premier League season ever.
Tottenham have won four of their last five league games but are in need of all three points vs the Foxes to ensure they remain in the top four.
Leicester injury update
Ahead of the Spurs game, Leicester boss Claude Puel has provided an injury update on his players.
Jamie Vardy would miss Leicester’s last game vs Fulham through injury and that injury looks set to also keep him out of Saturday’s game.
When speaking about Vardy potentially returning vs Crystal Palace, Puel stated:
“We will see. I don’t want to push him too much. We have a lot of games and we need to be careful.”
No Vardy. The Leicester striker is still recovering from a minor groin complaint. Puel hopes to have him back for the trip to Palace. “We will see. I don’t want to push him too much. We have a lot of games and we need to be careful.” Does not require surgery. #LCFC #NoParty

There is some good news for the Foxes though as they will have available the trio of Harry Maguire, Rachid Ghezzal and Jonny Evans who have all recovered from injuries.
