David De Gea set to run down Man United deal and join PSG

A move for De Gea

Manchester United could lose David De Gea.

The goalkeeper is thought to be considering joining PSG once his deal at United runs out.

A move to the Ligue 1 side would make him one of the best players in the world, and would be on a £300,000 per week deal.

The Daily Mail think that De Gea will run down his contract at United, and leave on a free – which would also net him a massive signing on fee.

Mourinho is thought to be accepting of the fact 0 though quite how long he will be at United is anyone’s guess.

De Gea could sign a pre-contract agreement with PSG as soon as January 2019.

Football’s elite

United are tying some players down to new deals – but cannot attract football’s elite.

If they lose De Gea, their decline would  be even more prominent.

The club are struggling to break into the top four, let alone win the title.

Top players not only want to be playing Champions League football, but they also want to be winning titles.

That’s something De Gea also wants – and for someone who is thought to be the best keeper in the league, he’s won surprisingly little.
